SAMUT PRAKAN -- A man was killed and another injured after a motorcycle they were riding ran into the rear of a pick-up truck parked on the shoulder of King Kaew Road in Bang Phli district in heavy rain early Sunday. Pol Capt Kittipop Poldech, a duty officer at Bang Kaew police station, said the accident occurred at about 30 minutes after midnight. Panuwat Wong-amat, 33, the driver of the pick-up truck, told police that he parked his vehicle on one side of the road and went into an entertainment venue in the area. He found that a motorcycle had hit his stationary pick-up truck in the rear. The driver of the motorcycle, identified later as Kengpanya Termphan, 20, was killed while another man, the pillion rider who was not yet identified, was injured.
